  2:30 pm    Welcome Back to the Table:  Fr. Tom McKenna (Salon DE)

  • Fr. Tom will review key points of the 2015 Grantee Renewal Conference, further define Systemic Change and show the importance of Community Engagement in efforts toward Systemic Change and Collective Impact.

 

  3:30 pm    Strategic Leadership with Compassion-Infusing Mission with Vision & Spirit: 

    Mr. Jim Emrich (Salon DE)

  • Jim will present a strategic leadership framework using as a case example a school he helped to found which now serves 600 children in Chester, PA.

MONDAY - SEPTEMBER 25, 2017

  8:30 am    We All Have a Role to Play: Mr. Paul Schmitz  (Salon DE)

  • Paul will lead an interactive workshop on the strategy, leadership culture, and community engagement necessary for collective impact efforts that create systemic, population level change.

 

11:00 am    Renewal Activities (Salons A,B,C, beach)

 

12:00 pm    Celebration of the Eucharist - Optional (Salon G)

                   Evaluating your Project: Sister Margaret Marie (Marge) Clifford, D.C. (Salon F)

  • Sr. Marge will dive deeper into grant writing with a focus on setting goals and objectives with measurable outcomes.

  • Participants will identify table discussion topics during Day 1

 

  2:30 pm    Grantee Panel on Community Engagement: Mr. F. Dale Whitten (Salon DE)

  • Dale will facilitate a discussion with grantees about the importance of community engagement in their programs.

  8:30 am    Breaking the Iron Cage of Poverty: Dr. Donna Beegle (Salon DE)

  • Donna will provide a poverty knowledge base necessary for improving outcomes in your community. Participants will gain tools for understanding how the many different life experiences of poverty impact success and what they can do to improve outcomes.

 

10:30 am    Conference Close and Sending Forth (Salon DE)

 

12:00 pm    Celebration of the Eucharist - Optional (Salon G)

 

Optional Unstructured Renewal Activities - Sand Sculpting, Beach Walk, Etc.

GRANTEE REVIEW

Thank you so much for all of the thought and effort that went into making sure we all were comfortable, well taken care of and that we had opportunities to share our own work and learn from so many others. It reminded all of us that we are really part of such a bigger movement.
