MISSION GRANTS
Mission Grants are usually large grants for start-up programs/projects or general operating costs. All requests must describe the organization's role in systemic change and plans for long-term sustainability. MMI's Tuition Assistance Program is now available under the Mission Grant program.
Mission Grant requests must be for a minimum of $25,000 and endorsed by a Daughter of Charity.
Examples of successful Mission Grant applications: Funding for start-up of dental services at a medical clinic for the un- and under-insured; funding to create an after-school tutoring program for children living in a low-income area.
